'Stereotomy’ is the scientific term for enclosing samples in wax and slicing them into fine shavings, a word Edgar Allan Poe used in The Murders in the Rue Morgue, the first detective novel. The album is a reflection of the pressures of the modern world. Stereotomy (Sessions) features 5 recordings from the album's recording sessions including Eric Woolfson guide and demo vocal versions, rough backing mixes, and a track that didn't appear on the original album, “Rumour Goin’ Round”.
